Faast F2T: A high-performance scooter with a top speed of 70 kmph and a range of 80-85 km per charge. The price is Rs. 91,999 (ex-showroom).
ClassIQ 150+: A comfort speed scooter with a top speed of 25 kmph and a range of 65-70 km per charge. No license or registration required. The price is Rs. 74,499 (ex-showroom).
Freedum Li: A comfort speed scooter with a top speed of 25 kmph and a range of 70-75 km per charge. No license or registration required. The price is Rs. 74,899 (ex-showroom).
Faast F2F: A high-performance scooter with a top speed of 70 kmph and a range of 200 km per charge. Launched recently in India. The price is Rs. 89,999 (before subsidy).
Okaya’s electric scooters are powered by LFP batteries that are designed and manufactured by the company itself (you’ll find out more about it in the article below). The company also provides EV charging and battery swapping solutions that are compatible with its scooters. LFP Batteries:
One of the key features of Okaya’s electric scooters is the use of Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) batteries that are designed and manufactured by the company itself. LFP batteries are a type of lithium-ion battery that have several advantages over other types of batteries, such as:
Longer life cycle: LFP batteries can last up to 5000 cycles, which means they can be charged and discharged more times without losing their capacity.
Higher safety: LFP batteries are more stable and less prone to overheating, fire or explosion than other types of lithium-ion batteries.
Better performance: LFP batteries can deliver high power output and fast charging speed, which enhances the performance and convenience of the electric scooters.
Eco-friendly: LFP batteries are free of toxic metals such as cobalt and nickel, which reduces the environmental impact of battery production and disposal.
IP67: Water and dust proof connectivity products are defined by their Ingress Protection (IP) numbers.
The first number after IP is for the part's protection against solid objects like dust and sand and second digit means protection from water/ liquid.
Okaya claims that its LFP batteries are the best in the industry, as they offer superior quality, reliability and durability for its electric scooters. The company also provides battery swapping and charging solutions that are compatible with its LFP batteries, making it easier for the customers to access and maintain their electric scooters.
BLDC Motor:
The electronic control in brushless DC motors allows for more precise and efficient control over the motor’s speed and position, which gives them an edge over the brushed DC motors. Brushless DC motors also last much longer, with a lifespan that is about six times that of the brushed DC motors.
Okaya has also invested in setting up its own EV manufacturing plants in India, to produce its range of electric scooters and batteries.
