Kia revealed its latest electric vehicle EV3. It is a compact SUV poised to launch globally in 2024, while the India launch is expected to be sometime in late 2025.

KIA Motors has unveiled the KIA EV3, its latest all-electric compact SUV, in its home market. This exciting addition to the EV segment is available in three variants: Air, Earth, and GT-Line. The price range for the EV3 is between KRW 42.08 million (Rs. 25.63 Lakhs) and KRW 51.08 million (Rs. 31.12 Lakhs).
Opposites United Design Philosophy: The EV3 embodies KIA’s 'Opposites United' design philosophy, presenting a visually stunning exterior and interior. Customers can choose from seven exterior colour options -- and three interior options for the non-GT variants, with a single choice for the GT-Line.
Luxurious Interior Features: The minimalist interior of the EV3 includes dual 12.3-inch integrated screens, a 12-inch head-up display, dynamic ambient lighting, and a double D-cut steering wheel. The design focuses on enhancing roominess and comfort for both drivers and passengers.
The EV3 is equipped with a host of Advanced Safety Technologies including: 9 airbags, front and rear parking distance warning sensors, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), and an individual tire pressure warning system, among others. The SUV is built using high tensile parts and reinforced body structure further enhancing passenger safety.
The Platform: The EV3 uses Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP electric vehicle platform. It features a 58.4kWh lithium-ion battery for the base variants and an 81.4kWh battery for long-range variants. These batteries offer driving ranges of 350 KM and 501 KM respectively on a single charge.
Aerodynamic Design for Efficiency: The SUV's design optimizes airflow with features such as 17-inch aerodynamic wheels, side sill undercovers, bumper-integrated active air flaps, wheel gap reducers, and 3D curvature-shaped front and rear undercovers.
Powerful Electric Motor: The EV3 is powered by a single electric motor mounted on the front wheel, delivering 150 kW (200 bhp) and 283 Nm of torque.
