The 2024 Punch EV embraces a modern design inspired by the Nexon EV, featuring a connected LED DRLs, split headlights, and a revamped bumper design. In contrast, the ICE-powered Punch maintains a conventional aesthetic, yet both share rugged elements in silhouette, rear door handles, and cladding. While interior images are not revealed, the expectations are still high for a dashboard design similar to the petrol-powered Punch but with some platform-induced alterations or changes. The Punch EV elevates the driving experience with advanced features such as a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, infotainment system, wireless phone charging, a 360-degree-view camera, and the Arcade.ev app suite. Common features like a sunroof, auto-folding ORVMs, and advanced connectivity options are shared between both the models
The Punch EV offers two powertrain options such as the Long Range and Standard Range, showcasing the commitment of the Tata Motors for electric diversification. Specific battery details are still undisclosed, but an impressive claimed range of up to 300-400 km do position the Punch EV quite competitively. The expected starting price may approximately be Rs. 12 lakh (ex-showroom), reflecting the usually higher upfront costs that's associated with electric vehicles.
