Maruti Suzuki to Launch Six Electric Vehicles by 2031: Report

With the first model due to come shortly, automotive behemoth Maruti Suzuki has formally revealed its ambitious intentions to introduce six new electric vehicles by the fiscal year 2030-31.

Chairman RC Bhargava presented the company's plan to help India reach carbon neutrality targets during the annual general meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, August 27.

As it gets ready to reveal its first-ever electric car at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, set for January 17, the manufacturer is likely to make use of the technological know-how of Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation.
