At 11,143 vehicles, Honda Cars India recorded better overall August 2024 sales numbers. Sales of HCIL split between home and foreign markets. Export sales came at 5,817 units and domestic sales at 5,326 units.
Domestic sales fell by 2,554 units, or 32.41 percent, YoY. However, overseas sales rose 3,628 units, or 165.74 percent. This significant export volume rise suggests Honda's sales strategy is shifting towards overseas markets.
Honda Cars India's MoM sales increased by 702 units from July 2024, a 15.18 percent rise. Export sales exceeded domestic sales for Honda Cars India in August 2024.
