The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is one of the better cars capable of delivering good mileage. The 1.0L petrol engine version gives 21.79 km/l, the petrol AGS 1.2L engine model 20.52 km/l, and the CNG variant offers 32.52 km/kg.

A unique aspect of the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is that this vehicle is available with either 1.0L or 1.2L K-series engines to ensure an unmatched driving experience. This model offers eight variants with the 1.0L engine and six with the 1.2L motor. The 1.2L engine delivers maximum power of 81 bhp @ 6000 rpm, whereas the 1.0L motor provides 67.04 bhp @ 5500 rpm. The respective torque levels are 113 Nm @ 4200 rpm and 90 Nm @ 3500 rpm. This BSVI compliant engine mates with a 5-speed manual transmission system with automatic shift technology.
The tilt-adjustable steering makes driving this car a pleasure even in busy city traffic. The McPherson Strut suspension at the front makes it comfortable for the driver and the front-seat passenger.
